[Entry 1] Belonging Between the Bases
As I stand on the baseball field, the dirt under my cleats feels like home. The bases are set, the sun is shining, it’s me – ready to play. This is where I feel the strongest, where I’m part of something. Every cheer, every slide into base, every dirt stain on my uniform tells a story. I belong here, not just because I play, but because I love the game. The field isn’t just a field, it’s where I belong.
[Entry 2] Companions For Life
My picture relates to the theme because I belong by having something that I love. That’s my dog. This picture represents the theme by having someone that I love and enjoy hanging out with.
[Entry 3] God’s Creation
Through my photo I aim to capture the works of God’s creation. I see myself as one with God’s creation, and I feel that God’s nature is not just around me, it lives within me. In every plant I see I feel a moment of growth. In every season, I see new beginnings from God. As the rays of the sun touch my skin I feel the presence of God wrapping me in peace and quiet strength.

I describe my work as photography, knowing how to use a camera, how to edit photos, and how to take a good photo. It relates to taking photos at different angles, different backgrounds, and different cameras. Also, to knowing what we are doing.
[Entry 5] I Belong at the Lake
I chose this picture because I love and desire fishing, but the best part about it is fishing with my best friend.
[Entry 6] We Belong Everywhere
I took a picture of a key because I think it symbolizes that you belong everywhere. It is the key that can unlock any lock. It’s the key to finding where you belong and in this case with the key it is everywhere. This relates to the theme because as you know the theme is “I Belong” and as I said the key I took a picture of is one that can unlock any lock because you belong anywhere and everywhere.
[Entry 7] Road to Peace
This picture shows the theme “I belong” through the road leading to the colorful sky symbolizing direction and purpose. The sunset’s warm colors give a feeling of peace and comfort.

It relates by having me with my friends proving I belong with the rest of them.
[Entry 9] I Belong at the Lake with my Brother
I belong at the lake with him because I get to spend quality time with him and get to learn new skills. Some of those skills are learning to tie knots, set up rigs, fish lures and outsmart the fish. It is also a great way to pass the time. It is also a very relaxing way to spend the day. The excitement of catching a fish is like nothing I have experienced before.
[Entry 10] Finding My Place in the Game
In the picture, a soccer ball is surrounded by multiple basketballs. At first, it looks unusual and out of place, but under closer inspection both the basketball and the soccer ball share the same purpose. They bring people together through teamwork and connection. The single soccer ball reminds me that belonging isn’t about being the same as others.
[Entry 11] My Family and My House
I chose the category of photography and I took a picture of my dad, my mom, and my sister in front of my house. This picture shows how much I love my family and how much I love living in my house. This relates to the theme “I belong” by showing how I belong with my family and how much they love me. I feel that “I belong” in my house because it gives me shelter and provides me safety.

Sports helped me feel like I belong. We cheer for each other and have fun at the same time.
