Honorary Service Award
Honorary Service Awards (HSA) are a special way for the PTA to recognize amazing individuals or organizations that go above and beyond for kids at Sierra Vista. Whether it’s helping out at schools, leading programs, or making a difference behind the scenes — these awards shine a spotlight on those who make life better for our youth. They will be awarded by our Sierra Vista PTA and presented at our Founder’s Day celebration in January.
For each award recipient, a donation is contributed in his/her name to the California State PTA for scholarship and grant programs.

Award Categories

Honorary Service Award (HSA)
Given to an individual or organization in special recognition of outstanding service to children and youth of the community, going above and beyond what is asked of them.

Very Special Person (VSP)
Given to recognize an individual or organization for their service to PTA.

Continuing Service Award (CSA)
Given to an individual or organization for ongoing or long-time service to children and youth, providing support year after year.

Outstanding Teacher Award (OTA)
Given to a teacher in special recognition for outstanding service in positively impacting the lives and welfare of children and youth in the PTA, school, or community.

Outstanding Administrator Award (OAA)
Given to an administrator in special recognition for outstanding service in positively impacting the lives and welfare of children and youth in the PTA, school, or community.
