All Sierra Vista Students are encouraged to submit their artwork to the National PTA Reflections program.
This is the information to create original Reflections entries for 2024-2025, based on the theme: “Accepting Imperfection.” For art categories and guidelines please visit the PYLUC website.

We Are Looking for Entries from All Grade Divisions!
Primary: Pre K – Grade 2
Intermediate: Grades 3-5
Middle School: Grades 6 – 8

Important information regarding your Reflections entries.
Important Information
We are only able to judge entries that have a TITLE OF WORK, ARTIST STATEMENT, and an ENTRY FORM.
WE’RE EXCITED TO SEE WHAT YOU CREATE!
ARTIST STATEMENT must be written in pen or type. Illegible hand-written will not be judged.
PLEASE be sure to read updated official rules and guidelines for each category at https://www.pta.org/home/programs/reflections
If these guidelines are not met, the artwork cannot be judged.
SHOWCASE
All entries will be displayed at the Sierra Vista Elementary Open House in Spring 2025.
FINALISTS
Each category will be judged within the grade divisions. Up to 3 finalists per grade division and category may advance to Council PTA–the next level–for judging. Finalists at each PTA level advances to the next judging level until National PTA.
CELEBRATION PRIZES
First 25 entry submissions will receive a sweet treat. If Sierra Vista students submit over 100 entries, all participants will receive a pizza lunch. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation. Students who advance to the Council PTA level will be awarded and have their work recognized in the school yearbook.
A Reflections Celebration will take place in Winter 2024.
SUBMIT ENTRIES AT SIERRA VISTA
All entries can be dropped off anytime to the student’s teacher or at the front office.
Students must turn in their entries to Sierra Vista Elementary by Friday October 11, 2024.
